A 66-year-old woman has died after rolling her SUV this past week near Stonewall, Manitoba.

On August 31, 2016, at approximately 11:30am, Stonewall RCMP were called to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 67, approximately 5 kilometres west of Stonewall, Manitoba.

Early police investigation revealed that the driver of an eastbound Ford Explorer lost control, entered the south ditch of the highway where it struck an approach and rolled.

Police say that the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 66-year-old woman, was pronounced deceased.

RCMP do not believe that alcohol was a contributing factor in this incident. The investigation is on-going.
