A 42-year-old La Broquerie man is dead after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 52 near La Broquerie, Manitoba.
On March 18, 2018, at approximately 2:20am, Steinbach RCMP received a report that a pedestrian had been struck on Highway 52, approximately eight kilometres west of La Broquerie.
RCMP report that the pedestrian, a 42-year-old La Broquerie man was pronounced deceased on scene.
Police say that it is unclear at this time whether alcohol was involved in the incident. The 60-year-old female driver of the vehicle, from Sandilands, was not injured and not intoxicated.
An RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstructionist is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
