Bob Lagassé, MLA for Dawson Trail, announced that the Manitoba government is investing in important community projects in the Dawson Trail constituency.
Through community development programs such as Community Places, Partner 4 Growth, and Hometown Manitoba, the Progressive Conservative government is providing $118,898 for 11 projects in Dawson Trail, including:
- Club Ile-Des-Chenes Club Inc, Arena Entrance Repair: $8,590
- EIDC School Playground Committee, Playground and Green Space Re-Development: $34,588
- RM of Ritchot, Surfacing Project at Grande Pointe Park: $5,107
- St. Adolphe Community Centre, Rink Glass Replacement: $14,334
- RM of Taché, Lorette Community Centre Repairs and Safety Project: $11,631
- Taché Community Day Care Inc., Preschool Backyard Leaning Environment Improvement: $6,255
- Ile-Des-Chenes Country Store, Storefront Improvements: $1,000
- RM of Taché, Electronic Sign: $5,000
- Ritchot Community Development Corporation, Signage: $5,000
- Howden Community Centre Inc., Kitchen and Bar Upgrade: $7,393
- Wildlife Haven Rehabilitation Centre Inc., Small Grant Program: $20,000
“I am very pleased that our government is making these investments in the Dawson Trail constituency,” said MLA Lagassé. “Projects like these make our communities stronger and improve the quality of life for Manitoba families.”
Lagassé was joined by Laura Wiens, Leanne O’Keefe and Renée Kapelus from the École Ile-Des-Chenes School Playground Committee at an event in Ile-Des-Chenes to announce this funding.
