On Sunday August 19, 2018, at approximately 1:35am, Steinbach RCMP were dispatched to a motorcycle collision on Road 40 E in the RM of Ste. Anne, Manitoba.
Police say that a 48-year-old Winnipeg man was located in a ditch conscious and breathing by his wife who had been following in the family vehicle. The wife did not witness the collision.
Police, Fire Department and EMS attended the scene and the motorcycle driver was airlifted by STARS to a Winnipeg hospital. Police noted that the driver is now listed as being in stable condition.
RCMP report that alcohol is suspected as being a factor in this collision and that the investigation is ongoing.
