On September 27, 2016, just before 11pm, Brandon RCMP responded to a shooting incident in a rural wooded area located in the RM of Riverdale, Manitoba.
Police say that a 24-year-old male from Sioux Valley Dakota Nation, Manitoba, received a gunshot wound while hunting. His injuries are life-threatening.
RCMP Major Crime Unit and Brandon RCMP continue to investigate.
