Steinbach RCMP are asking the public to help identify a person of interest in a recent theft incident that occurred at a local gas station.
Police say that on October 17, 2018 a man drove away from the Coop gas station, located at the north end of town, without paying for approximately $130 worth of propane.
If you have any information in regards to the identity of the suspect, you are asked to contact the Steinbach RCMP Detachment at 204-326-4452 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477. You can also submit a tip online at www.manitobacrimestoppers.com or text TIPMAN plus your message to CRIMES(274637).
Update
RCMP report that the gentleman in question has self-identified and remedied the situation. There will be no charges.
