Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information about a recent theft incident from the Walmart located on Highway 12 in Steinbach, Manitoba.
On December 21, 2018, Steinbach RCMP received a report that a theft had occurred at the Steinbach Walmart store. Police say that a male and female suspect entered the Steinbach Walmart while another person waited in a vehicle outside the front doors. The vehicle is described as a dark green or possibly grey Saturn 4-door car. The suspects then proceeded to load up a cart using reusable bags, as well as winter tires. The male and female then left quickly through the front entrance without paying for the items. The front sensors at the store were activated as a result, causing the suspects to run to the Saturn vehicle out front, where they unloaded the carts quickly into the vehicle and sped away quickly going towards Highway 12.
