A 29-year-old Thompson man is facing a number of drug-related charges after RCMP seized a large quantity of illicit pills.
On February 22, 2019, during a traffic stop that occurred at approximately 4:30pm, Thompson RCMP located a quantity of pills, believed to be Oxycodone.
As the investigation continued, officers obtained a search warrant for a residence located on Juniper Drive in Thompson. A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of over 1,400 illicit Oxycodone pills and other drug paraphernalia.
RCMP report that 29-year-old Matthew Delaronde of Thompson was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and failing to comply with conditions. A 48-year-old female and a 26-year-old male, also from Thompson, were also arrested with charges pending.
