The City of Steinbach has announced a number of local road closures beginning Monday, September 9, 2019.
McKenzie Avenue between Parkhill Crescent and Bushfarm Road will be closed from Monday, September 9 until the end of September, weather permitting. Local traffic will continue to have access during this time. The reconstruction of McKenzie Avenue includes a water main installation as well as an upgrade from gravel to asphalt road surface.
The second closure location will be the McKenzie Avenue and Bushfarm Road intersection. This area will be closed from September 16-19 for the installation of a culvert. Local traffic is asked to use Hanover Road West and PTH 12 during the three day intersection closure.
The noted improvements are being completed by the developer of Lexington Village as part of the development agreement for this area.
The City thanks motorists in advance for respecting temporary traffic control pylons and other safety signs set up for the protection of workers.
