Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information that may be connected to a number of recent bicycle thefts.
On November 7, 2019, Steinbach RCMP received a report stating that a bicycle had been stolen from a stairwell in one of the buildings located on Brighton Lane in Steinbach.
Police say that culprit(s) took the bicycle, which had been locked, but left a tire behind. The bicycle is described as a black and green Diadora.
The following day, at approximately 8am, Steinbach RCMP received another report of stolen bicycle. This bike was stolen sometime during the afternoon hours of November 7.
Investigation determined that the second bicycle had been locked up outside a residence located on Brandt Street in Steinbach. This bicycle is described as a red and black moutain bike.
