A Steinbach man was handed a 72-hour suspension of his licence after officers found him to be driving while over the legal limit.
On December 14, 2016, at approximately 11:20pm, Steinbach RCMP observed a vehicle traveling on Highway 12 near Penfeld Drive. Police say that the vehicle did not have any headlights on and as a result conducted a traffic stop that determined the driver had recently consumed alcohol.
RCMP report that a roadside breath demand was administered and the 48-year-male driver from Steinbach provided a sample of his breath that resulted in a 72-hour suspension of his licence.
