Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating the theft of a John Deere tractor which had been stolen from a farmyard located on Road 33E in the Rural Municipality of Hanover. The theft occurred sometime between July 17 and 18, 2021.
The stolen tractor is described as a 1997 John Deere 5500. The tractor did not have a cab, but had a front loader attached to it. The loader bucket had a mesh piece welded to the back.
Police say that the tractor is valued at approximately $20,000.
