The City of Steinbach has announced that the final touches are now complete on the new basketball court located at the northwest corner of L.A. Barkman Kinsmen Park in Steinbach. Access to the new court is available off of Woodhaven Avenue.
City officials say that the basketball court is 88 feet long by 50 feet wide and features a rubber playing surface with painted lines.
The City also noted that this project was made possible through grant funding provided by the Steinbach Community Foundation and Manitoba’s Building Sustainable Communities program.
