Manitoba’s Immigration Advisory Council is launching a series of public meetings to inform its recommendations on improvements to Manitoba’s current immigration policies and programs. The meeting in Steinbach will be held on August 4.

Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information that may help identify a suspect who recently stole a lawn mower from a local gas station. The incident occurred on June 19, 2022 at approximately 7:30pm.

Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating the theft of a Garmin fish finder. The fish finder was attached to a boat located in the Thurston Drive area near Ste. Anne, Manitoba.

Steinbach RCMP are reporting that a 23-year-old Steinbach man has recently been served a $901 fine after he was caught speeding at a rate of 65 km/h over the posted speed limit.

Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information regarding the whereabouts or identity of a suspect involved in a recent stabbing incident that occurred in Steinbach.

The Manitoba government is providing $20,500 through the Criminal Property Forfeiture Fund to the Steinbach RCMP detachment and $17,500 to the Manitoba East District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST) to purchase equipment that will combat property crime in the region.

Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating the theft of a bicycle and baby carriage bike trailer. The items were stolen from a residence located on Crescentwood Drive in Steinbach.

Steinbach RCMP are reporting that a Richer, Manitoba man was recently arrested and will be facing numerous charges after he drove his vehicle through a patio building at the La Broquerie bar.

Steinbach are asking the public for any information that may help in an investigation regarding a recent trailer theft that occurred at a local business located on Highway 52 West in Steinbach.

The City of Steinbach is advising the public that Park Road West will be closed to both east and west bound traffic from the east side of Industrial Road to EG Penners all day, on Tuesday, June 14.
