Serving Seniors taking over Handi-Transit service in Steinbach starting Feb. 1

The City of Steinbach has announced that starting in February, 2022, Serving Seniors Inc. will assume the city’s Handi-Transit operations, part of a new recently signed service agreement.

Manitoba to delay return to school to Jan. 10, providing additional time to assess omicron risk

The province has announced that it will delay the return to school for students following the winter break to Jan. 10, 2022. The delay will give public health officials additional time to assess the risk of the omicron variant in Manitoba and what changes might be needed on the return to school in early January.

Province partnering with Town of Niverville on $1.9-Million intersection improvements

Dump trailer theft being investigated by Steinbach RCMP

Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating the recent theft of a dump trailer. The incident is believed to have occurred sometime between December 15 at 6:30pm and December 16 at 9am.
