The City of Steinbach was recently presented with the Manitoba Community Emergency Preparedness award which demonstrates excellence in developing and maintaining emergency preparedness programs.

The Manitoba Community Emergency Preparedness Awards recognizing communities with programs meeting or exceeding standards have been presented to the City of Steinbach, the Rural Municipality of East St. Paul and the Town of Snow Lake.

At Manitoba Pork’s Annual General Meeting on April 5, 2017, Chair George Matheson presented Dr. Laurie Connor with Manitoba Pork’s 2017 Award of Distinction.

Wellwood Colony Farms, located near Ninette, Manitoba, has claimed the top award at this year’s Royal Manitoba Winter Fair Pork Quality Competition which was recently held in Brandon, Manitoba.

Fairway Ford in Steinbach was recognized by Ford Motor Company of Canada as a 2016 President’s Award winner for demonstrating outstanding achievement in sales and customer satisfaction.

Nicole Champagne, former Chief Administrative Officer of the Town of Ste. Anne, was recently recognized for her remarkable track record in which she contributed significantly, among other things, to normalizing municipal services in French for the benefit of the citizens of Ste. Anne.

Canadian Gold Beverages, located in Marchand, Manitoba, recently received a gold medal for “Best Sparkling Bottled Water” and silver medal for “Best Still Bottle Water” at the annual 2017 Berkeley’s International Water Tasting Competition.
