Week one of the 2018 RCMP Holiday Checkstop program, running from December 1-9, resulted in 28 people being charged for impaired driving.

As the result of a recent daytime Checkstop conducted on Highway 12 in Steinbach, local RCMP were able to arrest an individual who was found to be in possession of a stolen vehicle and counterfeit currency.

Steinbach RCMP conducted a series of CheckStops over this past weekend, resulting in numerous charges being laid for impaired driving.

Week four of the RCMP Holiday Checkstop Program, from December 25, 2017, to January 1, 2018, has resulted in 1,366 vehicles checked across Manitoba during 22 Checkstops.

Week three of the RCMP Holiday Checkstop Program, from December 18 to 24, 2017, has resulted in 1,960 vehicles checked across Manitoba during 42 Checkstops.

Week two of the RCMP Holiday Checkstop Program, from December 11 to 17, 2017, has resulted in 2,306 vehicles being checked across the province during 50 Checkstops.

Week one of the RCMP Holiday Checkstop Program, from December 1 to 10, 2017, has resulted in 2,383 vehicles checked across Manitoba during 51 checkstops.

Manitoba RCMP have charged 21 people with impaired driving after the first Holiday Checkstop weekend in 2017.

The final week of the RCMP Holiday Checkstop program, running from from December 27, 2016, to January 2, 2017, saw 2179 vehicles checked across Manitoba during 41 Checkstops.

Week three of the RCMP Holiday Checkstop Program, from December 20, to December 26, 2016, has resulted in numerous charges.
