The latest five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 5.5 per cent provincially and 2.5 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on November 25, 2021, 459 new cases of the virus have been identified since Monday: 129 cases on Tuesday, Nov. 23; 147 cases on Wednesday, Nov. 24; and 183 cases on Nov. 25.

The province has announced that it is beginning to immunize children ages five to 11 against COVID-19 this week and thousands of parents have already booked appointments to protect their younger children during the fourth wave of the pandemic and into the holiday season.

The Manitoba government is providing $6.8 million in additional funding to improve school ventilation with priority given to schools in regions with higher levels of community transmission.

In alignment with Manitoba Public Insurance’s duty to provide and maintain a safe and healthy workplace, the Corporation has developed a pandemic policy focusing on protecting employees, customers and our community, which will be effective Jan. 3, 2022.

As of 9:30am on November 22, 2021, 660 new cases of the virus have been identified since Friday: 201 cases on Friday, Nov. 19; 164 cases on Saturday, Nov. 20; 159 cases on Sunday, Nov. 21; and 136 cases today.

More than 1,000 registrations from businesses and non-profit organizations are moving through the application and funding process for the $15 million Digital Manitoba Initiative (DMI). Recently launched, the DMI offers organizations across Manitoba a low-risk way to invest in and adopt digital technology.

Today’s five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 5.4 per cent provincially and 2.9 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on November 18, 2021, 440 new cases of the virus have been identified since Monday: 99 cases on Tuesday, Nov. 16; 162 cases on Wednesday, Nov. 17 and 179 cases today.

Today’s five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 5.9 per cent provincially and 3.1 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on November 15, 2021, 399 new cases of the virus have been identified since Friday: 140 cases on Saturday, Nov. 13; 102 cases on Sunday, Nov. 14; and 157 cases today.

Today’s five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 6.1 per cent provincially and three per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on November 12, 2021, 687 new cases of the virus have been identified since Monday: 185 cases on Tuesday, Nov. 9; 143 cases on Wednesday, Nov. 10; 166 cases Thursday, Nov 11, and 193 cases today.

Due to rising COVID-19 cases, increased community transmission and a growing strain on the health-care system, Manitoba is taking additional steps to help curb the spread of the virus in the fourth wave of the pandemic.
