A total of 130 warnings and 102 tickets were issued for the week of May 17 to 23, including 96 $1,296 tickets to individuals for various offences and six $298 tickets to individuals for failure to wear a mask in indoor public places.

The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 13.3 per cent provincially and 15 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on May 26, 2021, 312 new cases of the virus have been identified. However, two cases have been removed due to data correction. This brings the net-new number of cases today to 310 and the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 49,356.

The current public health orders that were put in place for the May long weekend to keep Manitobans close to home and reduce transmission rates, will remain in effect for the remainder of the week to help protect the health-care system and to give officials additional time to monitor case and patient numbers.

The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 14.5 per cent provincially and 16.7 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on May23, 2021, 461 new cases of the virus have been identified. However, two cases have been removed due to data correction. This brings the net-new number of cases today to 459 and the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 48,436.

The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 14.3 per cent provincially and 16.8 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on May 22, 2021, 476 new cases of the virus have been identified. However, three cases have been removed due to data correction. This brings the net-new number of cases today to 473 and the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 47,977.

The Manitoba government continues to take action to protect Manitobans and advises that personnel empowered to enforce updated public health orders will be out in full force over the long weekend.

The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 14.1 per cent provincially and 16.1 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on May 21, 2021, 594 new cases of the virus have been identified. However, six cases have been removed due to data correction. This brings the net-new number of cases today to 588 and the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 47,504.

As Manitobans prepare to enjoy the May long weekend, it is important to remember that anyone heading to provincial parks, campgrounds or cottages should continue to practise social distancing and follow the fundamentals of safety for COVID-19.

Additional public health orders will come into effect this Saturday to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and reduce the strain on the health-care system.
