In response to the threat of a third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, Manitoba will expand vaccine eligibility criteria to include all adults in priority communities as well as first responders.

The province has announced that more than 300,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered, as part of the largest immunization campaign in Manitoba history.

The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 5.3 per cent provincially and 5.1 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on April 15, 2021, 153 new cases of the virus have been identified. However, four cases have been removed due to data correction. This brings the net-new number of cases today to 149 and the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 35,688.

The Manitoba government is launching a new partnership with United Way’s 211 Manitoba to help connect seniors and people with mobility issues to transportation services that can get them to their COVID-19 vaccination appointments.

The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 5.3 per cent provincially and 5.2 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on April 14, 2021, 86 new cases of the virus have been identified. However, six cases have been removed due to data correction. This brings the net-new number of cases today to 80 and the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 35,539. 

A total of 100 warnings and 13 tickets were issued for the week of April 5 to 11, including eight $1,296 tickets to individuals for various offences and five $298 tickets to individuals for failure to wear a mask in indoor public places.

The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is six per cent provincially and 5.7 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on April 13, 2021, 135 new cases of the virus have been identified. However, three cases have been removed due to data correction. This brings the net-new number of cases today to 132 and the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 35,459.

More than 20 per cent of Manitobans 18 and older have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, a significant milestone in the fight against COVID-19.

The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 6.2 per cent provincially and 5.6 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on April 12, 2021, 114 new cases of the virus have been identified. This brings the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 35,327.

The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 5.9 per cent provincially and 5.7 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on April 11, 2021, 112 new cases of the virus have been identified. This brings the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 35,213.
