A new online safety campaign launched by the Canadian Centre for Child Protection and supported with provincial funding is urging families to talk with their tweens and teens about the risks of online activities such as live streaming, online gaming and live chatting.

The Manitoba government is investing $550,000 between December 2019 and March 2023 to support the creation of a Cyber Security Technical Centre of Excellence.

October is Cyber Security Awareness Month, a national campaign focused on helping Canadians to be safe online.
