On August 6, 2017, at approximately 2:10am, Cross Lake RCMP conducted a traffic stop on Highway 374.

On the evening of June 23, 2017, Manitoba RCMP Traffic Services, along with members of the St-Pierre-Jolys and Oakbank RCMP detachments, set up a Checkstop on Highway 1 at PR 207.

On March 28, 2017, at approximately 12:20am, members of the RCMP North District Crime Reduction Enforcement Team and the Wabowden RCMP initiated a traffic stop near Wabowden, Manitoba.

On the morning of March 3, 2017, Peguis and Fisher Branch RCMP, along with assistance from the Emergency Response Team, executed search warrants under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at two residences located on the Peguis First Nation.

On January 20, 2017, at approximately 10pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP executed a Controlled Drug and Substances Act warrant at a motel on 20th Street SW in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

At approximately 11pm on Friday, January 14. 2017, Manitoba RCMP responded to a call of a possible fentanyl overdose at a residence in the southeast corner of the province. Reports indicated that a male was unconscious and not breathing.

Every front line RCMP officer in Manitoba has been equipped with a naloxone kit to help them assist anyone who has come into contact with an opioid.
