A 20-year-old woman from the Rural Municipality of Hanover is facing charges in connection to a serious assault incident that occurred in Grand Marais, Manitoba. The woman was one of a group of seven that were arrested and charged.

Due to this spring’s continued dry conditions, the Rural Municipality of Hanover is reinstating their Fire Ban for the entire municipality, effective at 12pm on Thursday, May 13, 2021.

Steinbach RCMP are reporting that a 28-year-old RM of Emerson-Franklin man has been arrested in connection to a recent shooting incident that occurred at a residence located in the RM of Hanover.

Due to this spring’s dry conditions and the current weather forecast, the RM of Hanover has implemented a fire ban for the entire municipality, effective 12pm Thursday, April 8, 2021.
