A 16-year-old RM of Hanover youth has been arrested by Steinbach RCMP in connection to a stolen vehicle investigation.

The Hanover Agricultural Society kicks off another season full of fun with the annual three-day Spring Rodeo taking place May 25 to 27, 2018.

Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating a residential break-in that occurred at a residence located in the Rural Municipality of Hanover.

The RM of Hanover Fire Ban, which was put in place on April 16, 2018, will now include a total ban on all fires, including backyard fire pits.

Due to this spring’s dry conditions and the current weather forecast calling for warmer temparatures, the RM of Hanover has implemented a Fire Ban for the entire municipality, effective at 5pm, Monday, April 16, 2018.

The Manitoba Community Emergency Preparedness Awards for 2018 are being presented to the rural municipalities of Cartier and Hanover, the Municipality of Louise, and the Southern Emergency Response Committee consisting of the RM of Stanley and the cities of Morden and Winkler.

Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating a theft incident where a snowmobile was stolen from a residence located in the RM of Hanover.

On September 13, at approximately 9:50am, Steinbach RCMP received a report of a two vehicle collision involving a semi tractor trailer and a minivan.

On September 9 and 10, 2017, the Hanover Ag Society along with Heartland Rodeo Association will host the Heartland Finals Rodeo at the Hanover Ag grounds in Grunthal, Manitoba.

Due to this summer’s dry conditions and the current weather forecast calling for very minimal precipitation with gusting winds this weekend, the RM of Hanover has implemented a Fire Ban for the entire municipality.
