A 31-year-old Steinbach man is facing numerous theft related charges after recently being arrested by Lac du Bonnet RCMP. The incident was in response to a report of a stolen off-road vehicle siting within the municipality.

On July 21, 2022, at approximately 12:25pm, RCMP responded to a report of a possible drowning at a property located along the Winnipeg River, in the Rural Municipality of Lac du Bonnet.

Police Service Dog, Mocha, recently assisted Beausejour and Lac Du Bonnet RCMP in tracking down a suspect that had recently fled police. The suspect was subsequently arrested and is facing multiple charges in connection to the incident.

Lac du Bonnet RCMP are reporting that two side-by-sides, as well as two snowmobiles, which had been previously reported stolen from locations in Winnipeg and Steinbach, were recently recovered.

On February 12, 2022, Lac du Bonnet RCMP will be conducting a snowmobile patrol in the Lac du Bonnet and Pinawa areas. Officers will be out on snowmobiles ensuring safe behaviour.

A 48-year-old Schanzenfeld, Manitoba man has recently died after the snowmobile he was riding collided with a tree at a location near Milner Ridge. 

Lac du Bonnet RCMP are reporting that an 18-year-old local area man has been arrested and is facing charges in connection to a recent armed robbery and residential fire that occurred in the community.

A 59-year-old Rosengart man has died as the result of a recent hunting incident that occurred at a location south of Elma, Manitoba.

Lac du Bonnet RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of a missing female teen from the community, 14-year-old Brooklyn Sinclair.

Lac du Bonnet RCMP are searching for a missing snowmobiler, 50-year-old Dan Lemay of Grunthal, after he lost contact with family members while out on a snowmobile trip headed towards Rennie, Manitoba.
