The Manitoba government has announced that it is directing casinos to report suspicious transactions to local and federal law enforcement to crack down on money laundering in the province.

Steinbach MLA and Justice Minister Kelvin Goertzen announced that the Manitoba government is expanding the Criminal Property Forfeiture (CPF) branch as part of its ongoing efforts to combat organized crime and money-laundering activities.
