RCMP have charged a 16-year-old male from Gimli with second degree murder in connection with an ongoing investigation that began in July.

With the help of the local community, RCMP were able to narrow down the list of suspects being investigated in the 2013 murder of 15-year-old Leah Anderson in Gods Lake Narrows. As a result, RCMP have made an arrest.

A 23-year-old Tootinaowaziibeeng First Nation man has been charged with second degree murder in relation to an ongoing police investigation involving the discovery of human remains.

On May 25, 2017, National Missing Children’s Day, RCMP remembered David Bruce Wiebe of Steinbach, whose murder investigation dates back to 1978.
