The Manitoba government is continuing to make investments in communities across the province, with more than $1.6 million in funding available for heritage sector initiatives.

The Manitoba government is allocating a total of $240,000 in 2023 to 30 recipients of the Community Museum Project Support Program. Included in the program is the Mennonite Heritage Village in Steinbach who will be receiving $9,000.

Funds from the Manitoba Heritage Trust Program will flow to the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre in Morden and the Manitoba Agriculture Museum in Austin thanks to the commendable fundraising efforts by both museums.
