On Friday, April 7, 2017, at approximately 11:30pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP were dispatched to a traffic collision on Saskatchewan Avenue East.

Charlene Ward, a 46-year-old mother and grandmother, was found dead in her home nine years ago. Police are asking the public for any information that may help solve this investigation.

On September 1, 2016, at approximately 5am, Portage la Prairie RCMP were called to the Southport Airport and Commercial Properties building on Centenaire Drive where a pickup truck had driven through the front of a building.
