A quantity of drugs and firearms were recently seized by RCMP as the result of a residential search in Split Lake, Manitoba.

A 24-year-old man from Split Lake First Nation has been charged with manslaughter in relation to a homicide investigation being conducted by Thompson RCMP.

On July 25, 2017, at approximately 7:10pm, Swan River RCMP received a report that a 17-year-old male from Split Lake, Manitoba was missing from Steeprock Bible Camp near Lake Winnipegosis.

On December 17, 2016, at approximately 7:45 pm, Thompson RCMP responded to a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian on Provincial Road 280, about 18 kilometres west of Split Lake, Manitoba.
