RBC and the MJHL have announced that Steinbach Pistons’ all-star goaltender Matt Radomsky is the recipient of the 2018-2019 RBC Community Award.

Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour, presented by Scotiabank and Dodge, is heading to Steinbach, MB for a celebration of hockey on March 9 and 10.

Some unique items are being hung-up along Steinbach’s Main Street starting this week. Hockey sticks and skates are being displayed from Brandt Street to Lumber Avenue to promote the Rogers Hometown Hockey Festival coming to Steinbach’s T.G. Smith Arena on March 9 and 10, 2019.

Thanks to a scoring outburst of five points in two games, Steinbach Pistons’ Kyle Bettens has been named the Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week.

The final race of the 2018 Slingshot Racing Cup season took place this past week at Gimli Motorsport Park and exhibited some of the closest wheel-to-wheel racing of the season.

The Slingshot Racing Cup is set to conclude another exciting season of racing with Rounds 9 and 10 taking place on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at Gimli Motorsport Park.

Local hockey fans will be cheering as the City of Steinbach will be host to one of the 25 community stops for Rogers Hometown Hockey cross-country tour this coming winter.

The Dream Factory Slingshot Grand Prix, presented by S.A.R. in Steinbach, concluded August 16 in the afternoon at Gimli Motorsport Park with Dream Kids, racers and spectators all leaving with enormous smiles on their faces.

The Slingshot Racing Cup is set to resume competition on Thursday, August 16th, at Gimli Motorsport Park with “The Dream Factory Grand Prix” presented by S.A.R. in Steinbach.

Under brilliantly sunny skies, Rounds 5 and 6 of the Slingshot Racing Cup took place on July 18 at Gimli Motorsport Park, seeing some intense wheel-to-wheel action.
