Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information that may help identify two suspects involved in a recent theft incident at the Sobeys grocery store located in Highway 12 North in Steinbach.

Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating a shoplifting incident that occurred at the Sobeys grocery store located at Clearspring Centre in Steinbach.

On August 29, 2023 at approximately 2:50pm, Steinbach RCMP effectively arrested a Most Wanted Person from a few months ago. The warrant was executed without incident at a residence located just west Steinbach.

Steinbach RCMP are reporting that a 24-year-old Winnipeg man has been arrested and charged in connection to a recent dangerous driving incident that occurred on Main Street.

Steinbach RCMP are reporting that a young male driver was recently charged for street racing which resulted in a collision with a traffic light on Main Street in Steinbach.

Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating the theft of a Kawasaki motorcycle that was recently stolen from a residential parking lot located on Brighton Lane in Steinbach.

The City of Steinbach would like to inform residents that during the week of August 21 to August 25, temporary road closures and construction may impact travel in a number of areas.

City officials are advising motorists that on the morning of Wednesday, August 16, 2023, Barkman Avenue will be temporarily closed to all traffic from Henry Street to Beaver Crescent.

Steinbach RCMP are reporting that a 20-year-old man from the Rural Municipality of Ste. Anne, Manitoba, has recently died following an incident where his vehicle rolled on Road 40E.
