The City of Steinbach has announced that it is updating the Official Community Plan and Zoning By-law and is seeking public input in order to ensure the plan reflects the needs of the community.

The City of Steinbach would like to inform residents that a portion of Henry Street, at the main entrance of the hospital, will have the sidewalk closed and a single lane open from September 15 to 16, 2023.

Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information that may help identify a male suspect involved in a recent theft incident that occurred at the Shoppers Drug Mart store located at the corner of Main Street and Barkman Avenue in Steinbach.

Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating a bicycle theft incident that occurred at a residence located on Spruce Crescent in Steinbach. It is believed the bicycle was stolen sometime during the morning hours of September 1, 2023.

Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating a shoplifting incident that occurred at the Sobeys grocery store located at Clearspring Centre in Steinbach.

On August 29, 2023 at approximately 2:50pm, Steinbach RCMP effectively arrested a Most Wanted Person from a few months ago. The warrant was executed without incident at a residence located just west Steinbach.

Steinbach RCMP are reporting that a 24-year-old Winnipeg man has been arrested and charged in connection to a recent dangerous driving incident that occurred on Main Street.

Steinbach RCMP are reporting that a young male driver was recently charged for street racing which resulted in a collision with a traffic light on Main Street in Steinbach.

Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating the theft of a Kawasaki motorcycle that was recently stolen from a residential parking lot located on Brighton Lane in Steinbach.
