Steinbach RCMP are reporting that a 73-year-old Steinbach man has recently died after the snowmobile he was driving collided with a vehicle on Highway 12 near Clearsprings Road.

Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating a recent break and enter at the Great Canadian Dollar Store in Steinbach. The incident is believed to have occurred on December 25, 2022, during the morning hours.

Steinbach RCMP are reporting that a 42-year-old man from Richer, Manitoba, has recently died as the result of a collision with a train on Road 33 North at Twin River Road, in the Rural Municipality of La Broquerie.

Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information that may help identify two female suspects who are believed to have stolen a quantity of electric toothbrushes from the Shoppers Drug Mart located in Steinbach.

Manitoba Natural Resources and Northern Development are reporting that a suspect has been charged in connection to an investigation into illegal tree harvesting on a Crown land plantation north of Marchand.

Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating a number of break-ins that occurred at two Tim Hortons restaurants located in Steinbach. The incidents occurred on the night of December 12 to 13 and at 2am on December 16, 2022.

Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating the theft of a small Honda SUV that was recently stolen from the parking lot at the Days Inn located on Highway 12 North in Steinbach.
