After two years of postponed and cancelled plans, the City of Steinbach, along with Mennonite Heritage Village (MHV), have announced a day of family-friendly celebration activities for Canada Day on July 1.

Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information in connection to the recent theft of an older model Ford pickup truck. The theft is believed to have occurred sometime between June 8 at 3pm and June 9 at 4:04am.

Steinbach RCMP are looking to identify a female suspect connected to a recent theft of an electric bicycle. The eBike is described as a grey coloured Verve+ 2.

A 48-year-old Steinbach man has died as the result of a recent single-vehicle collision that occurred at the bridge on Provincial Road 210, south of Provincial Road 207 in the Rural Municipality of Ste. Anne, Manitoba.

Steinbach RCMP are reporting that a 39-year-old Marchand, Manitoba man has been charged in connection to a recent five vehicle collision that occurred at a location on Highway 52 in the Rural Municipality of La Broquerie.

Steinbach RCMP are reporting that there were 13 tickets recently issued for speeding and other offences that occurred along Main Street in Steinbach.

The City of Steinbach has announced that the compost pile at the Steinbach landfill is saturated with significant amounts of spring precipitation and is not expected to be ready until fall of this year.
