Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating the recent theft of a Ford pickup truck and Mitsubishi sedan that were stolen from locations in Giroux and the Rural Municipality of Reynolds, Manitoba.

The City of Steinbach has announced that the indoor facilities at the Aquatic Centre are now open at a reduced capacity. This is in addition to the outdoor facilities that opened last week.

Steinbach RCMP are reporting that they have located a child that was abducted on the evening of June 23. The child has been reunited with his mother and is safe and sound.

A 37-year-old Steinbach man recently escaped injuries after the semi-truck he was driving collided head-on with a pickup truck at a location near the Perimeter Highway in the Rural Municipality of Rosser, Manitoba.

Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating the theft of a motorcycle that had recently been stolen from an apartment complex located in Steinbach.

The City of Steinbach is again participating in the provincial Dutch elm disease and invasive species monitoring programs this summer. Monitoring is done through visual inspections and trapping of adult insects, aerial surveys and remote sensing.

The City of Steinbach has announced that in consideration of the Province of Manitoba’s public health orders, the outdoor facilities at the Aquatic Centre will open as of June 21, 2021 to provide residents some relief from the heat.

The City of Steinbach has announced that starting Monday, June 21, Park Road East will be closed to east and west bound traffic from PTH 12 to the east entrance of the Steinbach Aquatic Centre.
