On February 6, 2024, Manitoba RCMP officers responded to two separate reports of youths uttering threats involving firearms at two schools in western Manitoba. One school was in the RM of Alonsa and the other in the RM of Portage la Prairie.

Niverville and St. Pierre-Jolys RCMP are reporting that two male youths have recently been arrested and charged after uttering threats at the Lorette Collegiate.

On November 9, 2023, at 1:40pm, Steinbach RCMP responded to an anonymous bomb threat made against the daycare located in La Broquerie, Manitoba.

A 14-year-old male youth from Portage la Prairie has been arrested and charged after he threatened students and staff at a local school in an online social media post.

Flin Flon RCMP officers required the use of a Conducted Energy Weapon (CEW) on a male suspect after the man threatened the officers while they were in the detachment.

Following an extensive investigation into a bomb threat made towards the Steinbach Court Office this past July, officers from the Steinbach RCMP Detachment and RCMP Major Crime Services have arrested a 41-year-old male suspect.

On July 30, 2020, at approximately 12:15pm, Steinbach RCMP responded to a bomb threat at the Steinbach Court Office located on Reimer Avenue.
