The Director of CEO of VIDO says the technology used to develop a COVID-19 vaccine which is now undergoing human clinical trials offers several advantages over those used to develop vaccines currently being distributed.

Today’s five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 5.1 per cent provincially and 2.7 per cent in Winnipeg. Earlier on November 19, 2021, Health Canada approved the pediatric Pfizer vaccine for use in children ages five to 11 and clinical guidance was provided by the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI).
