A significant number of weapons were recently seized from a Lake St. Martin residence in a joint law enforcement investigation stemming from a weapons complaint.

In a joint effort with the General Investigations Section, Emergency Response Team and Police Dog Services, Steinbach RCMP arrested two individuals while seizing a quantity of drugs and weapons from a local residence.

Steinbach RCMP are reporting that a 17-year-old male youth from the community has been arrested and charged after police received a tip regarding a stolen vehicle.

Portage la Prairie RCMP are reporting numerous arrests and charges to a number of students who were making threats as well as being in possessions of weapons.
