As part of an ongoing drug investigation, officers from the Manitoba Integrated Law Enforcement Team (MILET) and the East District RCMP Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST), recently arrested three individuals at the Winnipeg Richardson International Airport.

Manitoba RCMP are reporting that a 65-year-old Mississauga, Ontario woman has died as the result of a vehicle collision near the Pembina Highway overpass.

A 25-year-old man from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan was recently arrested and charged after RCMP discovered drugs in his luggage at the Winnipeg Richardson International Airport.

Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure reports construction activities will begin May 30 on Provincial Trunk Highway (PTH) 100, the South Perimeter Highway, at Provincial Road (PR) 200, St. Mary’s Road.

Lac du Bonnet RCMP are reporting that two side-by-sides, as well as two snowmobiles, which had been previously reported stolen from locations in Winnipeg and Steinbach, were recently recovered.

Manitoba Finance’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) seized over 53 cases, the equivalent to 530,587 cigarettes of contraband cigarettes from a Winnipeg residence on Oct. 21.

Manitoba Infrastructure reports traffic will be delayed along various sections of PTH 100 (the South Perimeter Highway) with the start of a construction project on Monday, Oct. 4 and continuing until approximately Oct. 21, 2021.
