The Steinbach Chamber of Commerce has officially received accreditation from the Chamber Accreditation Council of Canada (CACC), a national recognition awarded to Chambers of Commerce and Boards of Trade that demonstrate excellence in leadership, governance, and operations.

Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating an assault incident involving a youth and two male suspects. The incident occurred on a gravel road near Marchand in the Rural Municipality of La Broquerie.

The Manitoba government has announced that it has completed 23 infrastructure upgrades across Manitoba this past summer, improving 204 kilometres of highways across the province.
