Manitoba Health, Seniors and Long-Term Care will conduct one additional round of adult mosquito control in the RM of West St. Paul under an existing ministerial order, after surveillance data last week showed high Culex tarsalis mosquito counts and a high West Nile virus infection rate in the area.

The Independent Investigation Unit (IIU) of Manitoba has announced the conclusion of a firearms related investigation that began in February of 2024.

Manitoba Agriculture reports that rain over the past week in the province has delayed harvest, but in many cases, the added moisture was welcome.
