Manitoba Health, Seniors and Long-Term Care is advising that a ministerial order has been issued under the Environment Act to spray for adult mosquitoes with DeltaGard 20EW in two additional communities due to a risk of exposure to West Nile virus.

The Manitoba government has approved five joint projects with the New Brunswick government for the 2026-27 fiscal year under the Manitoba-New Brunswick Co-operation and Exchange Agreement, supporting francophone organizations in both provinces.

Manitoba Agriculture reports that warm weather in the province over the past week has rapidly advanced crop development. Sonia Wilson, an oilseed specialist with Manitoba Agriculture, says growers expect to begin harvest within the next couple of weeks.
