Alongside mining companies at the recent Canada Investment Summit, the Manitoba government announced plans to ship more minerals out of Churchill by tripling its critical mineral production.

The Manitoba government has expanded emergency medicine focused residency training at the University of Manitoba, increasing the number of annual training seats to 17 from 11, to help build a stronger pipeline of emergency physicians for communities across the province.

The governments of Canada and Manitoba are celebrating the 12th annual Farm and Food Awareness Week from Sept. 20 to 25, an opportunity for Manitobans to learn where their food comes from and recognize the work local producers do to bring safe, healthy food from farm to table.
