On March 31, 2011, following an investigation by the Yellowhead RCMP with assistance from the RCMP Riding Mountain Traffic Services, members executed a search warrant at a residence in the Town of Erickson.
RCMP seized approximately 18 grams of cocaine worth a street value of $1,440, a small amount of marijuana along with other drug paraphernalia and $224 in Canadian currency.
18-year-old Dustin Christopher Robinson of Erickson was subsequently arrested in connection with the search and has been charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine and marijuana) contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act as well as breach of probation contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
Robinson was released on an undertaking with conditions and is scheduled to appear in Minnedosa Court, April 26, 2011.
