Three people are facing drug related charges after RCMP seized crack cocaine and cash at a Selkirk residence this past week.
On June 10, 2011, Selkirk RCMP executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) Search Warrant at a residence located on the 200 block of Clandeboye Avenue in the City of Selkirk.
RCMP seized approximately 13 rocks of crack cocaine and approximately $1,300 cash.
Selkirk RCMP have charged 26-year-old Anthony Ray Chartrand of Winnipeg with possession for the purpose of trafficking and production of a controlled substance. Chartrand was also wanted on a Canada-Wide warrant for parole violation. Also charged for the purpose of trafficking and production of a controlled substance are 21-year-old Jade Alyssa Hood of the RM of St. Andrews and 27-year-old Nicole Ruth Langlois.
Hood and Langlois were released from custody before a Judicial Justice of the Peace. Chartrand was remanded into custody at the Winnipeg Remand Centre.
