On June 17, 2011, at 7:50am, The Pas RCMP Detachment received a report of a single vehicle motor accident which occurred 51 kms south of The Pas.
RCMP report that a 78-year-old male resident of Wisconsin, USA, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The male driver, 53 years of age, suffered minor injuries.
Road Conditions have been considered to be good and alcohol is not considered a factor.
Police are continuing to investigate this incident with a Collision Analyst from Thompson RCMP Detachment assisting.
