Officers from the Dauphin Municipal RCMP Detachment made a traffic stop around 8:30pm on June 22, 2011, which resulted in the arrest of 3 people.
The vehicle had been spotted at the Market Place Mall parking lot squealing it’s tires and was stopped on 11th Avenue S.E. The driver was found to be impaired and was taken for breath tests which showed his blood alcohol level to be more than twice the legal limit. Two passengers in the vehicle were found to be breaching conditions of their recognizances.
31-year-old Sean Murray Blackbird of Dauphin has been charged with impaired driving, driving over .08 and driving while disqualified and is to make his first court appearance in Dauphin on July 26, 2011.
21-year-old Michelle Denise Gambler and 21-year-old Aaron Shawn Lavallee of Dauphin have each been charged with breach of recognizance. Both appeared in Dauphin court yesterday and have been remanded in custody until June 28, 2011.
