A man and woman face multiple drug and weapons charges after police executed a CDSA search warrant at a Keeseekoowenin FN residence yesterday.
On June 23, 2011 at about 8:30am, Elphinstone RCMP with the support of Yellowhead RCMP and the Dauphin RCMP Police Dog Service, executed a CDSA (Controlled Drugs and Substances Act) search warrant at a residence in Keeseekoowenin FN.
Investigators located approximately 9 kilograms of marijuana, several hundred grams of hashish oil and 2 unregistered firearms from inside the residence. Additionally, 26 marijuana plants were located growing on the property.
The street value of the these drugs is in excess of $120,000.
34-year-old Bryan Dean Bone and 27-year-old Kristen Ellen Bone of the Keeseekoowenin FN face multiple drug trafficking and weapons offences. Both subjects have been released from custody and will be appearing in Minnedosa Provincial Court on July 26, 2011.
Keeseekoowenin FN is located south of Riding Mountain National Park.
