After an ongoing search by way of boat, shoreline search and helicopter, police say they have located a second body that was reported missing in a canoeing accident last week.

On July 18, 2011 at about 9:30am, a second body was found in connection with two canoeists that went missing last week after their canoe capsized on the river downstream from the Notigi Dam.

The second body found is believed, while the identification is tentative, to be the second missing canoeist, a 43-year-old Thompson man. The first body was located on July 17 near the Notigi Dam, close to where the canoe had capsized.
