On July 26, 2011, just after 1:30pm, Carman Area RCMP as well as local Emergency Services were dispatched to the scene of a non-fatal two vehicle collision in the RM of Roland, Manitoba.
Initial investigation indicates that a Ford F150 truck was southbound on road 20 west, when it collided with a 1998 GMC truck towing a trailer. The GMC truck was westbound on Road 29 North. Both drivers attempted to avoid the collision without success and ended up in the southwest ditch of the uncontrolled gravel intersection.
The 61 and 41-year-old male drivers, along with their 60-year-old female and 16-year-old male passengers, were examined by EMS at the scene. The 3 adults were transported for further examination at the Carman Hospital.
Police continue to investigate and charges are pending.
