After nearly a year-long investigation, RCMP have now charged 36-year-old Lois Corrine Cook of Berens River FN with manslaughter in connection with the death of Dave Hudson.
Involved with this investigation were the RCMP Berens River Detachment, assisted by various RCMP support Units.
Lois Cook was the common law wife of the deceased at the time of the offence.
On July 27, 2011, Cook was arrested and has been remanded into custody to appear in Winnipeg Court.
27-year-old Alfred Trevor Bushie of Berens River FN remains before the court under charge for impaired driving causing death.
No additional charges are anticipated in connection with this death.
